We're in Burlington and now online

A few thoughts from Burlington

Got the computer set-up tonight after abandoning the dishwasher installation. Short one water pipe, so some other time dishwashie...

It looks like the Internet connection is slower at this location, but I will investigate before giving up. We're on DSL, so I'm not sure if I change the IP to a local one if that will make any difference. Any thoughts anyone?

The kitchen is almost done, and we've yet to mow the lawn! It took some time to locate Emma tonight in the reeds, but she eventually came in for dinner.

And last but not least...Moving stinks!

And really lastly, thanks to all of the wonderful helpers (Don, Dan, Christine, Brenda, Paul, Anne and Warren) that made the move and updates to the new place a possibility. Extra thanks to Anne and Warren for looking after Ethan and Emma this week before their new daycare starts. Extra-extra thanks to Don for locating Max (the cat) after he decided to flee the old house while we were loading the truck. Jill and I actually left Pickering without Max, hoping he would turn up somewhere, but Don (my Dad) went back for a last look, found the little sh!#, and brought him to Burlington. The kids were none the wiser thankfully.

Moving stinks...

You went from DSL to DSL, right? Do you have a new router or something?
