The moldy buyers punked out and backed out. I went up again to the attic and had a thorough look, and had to agree a wee bit with their fears.
Just so we don't have that, we'll buy it, inspect it, and not buy it scenario again, we have a roofing company coming in tomorrow to rip the whole upper roof off, and improve the ventilation. 4 grand later, we're hoping there will be no more surprises discovered.
Ah well, more things for the new owners to enjoy. After all, I finished the new cedar deck in November, and never had that BBQ that I was promising myself. Enjoy it suckas!
On the up side we had two showings tonight, and the neighborhood is a-buzz over our impending open house this Saturday...

Good luck! This time it'll be a definite SOLD.
The more I research I do into roofing, the more apparent it is that ventilation is everything.
You should be able to make back that $4K easily when you show the work that was done. Good luck.
