Burlington Bound!

The (Pickering) Clements are coming to Burlington! We bought a place on a quiet cresent near a park and an elementary school.

Jill and I are thrilled, and we have some Pickering house vending action to take care of before April 30th when we take possession of our new place.

The house is a wee bit smaller than our current one, but the backyard is HUGE, and it is just up the road from the same school where Ethan and Emma will go to daycare, before and after care, and school.

Here are some shots:

Just for fun...a nice pic of the happy kids wearing slippers from Great-Grandma:

Nice work! How does that affect the commute distance? Does Burlington have better things to do and better places to go?

Great lay-out. I especially love the giant window across from the couch. Looks like a perfect morning coffee chill out perch. I know the Arts Center there is fantastic. Lots of great exhibitions and interesting workshops in so many different fields. Are all you guys on the move out there?!

Jill here - the commute is extended by a good 15mins giving us a total oneway trip of 40mins, but now we can actually get a seat each morning. Our current commute puts us on a train that is the last station before it becomes express, so of course it's packed ... EVERY DAY! Except maybe the week of Xmas.

Anyway, when we get a seat, there is potential to pull out the laptop and put in an extra hour of work each day on the train. Thus alleviating some of the guilt from walking out at 4pm!

And yes Rachelle, as of Mayish, both Brunts & Clements will reside in Burlington. Brunts about a 12min walk from Anne & Warren, and Clements about a 12min drive.
