OK, so we suck at this blogging thing. In all honesty we HAVE been really busy. Last Friday night we had to take Max to the vet when we concluded that his behaviour over past couple of weeks wasn't quite normal. To make a long story short he has some pretty serious liver problems (which would explain his yellow colouring prior to being admitted). He has been in the hospital since last Friday night on IV getting pumped with meds. Had a fever on Tuesday but it disappeared that night. Tonight we went to visit him for a bit (in Toronto), as his absence has been pretty hard on the kids ... and especially on me. And whether he would admit it or not, Aaron has missed him too. We're hoping to bring him home tomorrow night or Saturday morning.
Onto happier things. I think Aaron is finally off the fence and has committed to moving to Burlington as is being done in droves by many folks of the durham region! Now that H&T are done with B&P and A&W, they are all free to come help us with purgin' and packin' our place in Pickering. What timing! First we have to finish painting the family room and basement stairs and we'll be good to go. And of course dispose of the old piano and all the other crap that remains in the basement ... deep freeze anyone?
Anywho, we've been busy checkin out Burlington listings quite frequently. I've been researching the daycare & school situation, with hopes of proximity to the train station and have determined that the area right around Murray & Marie is PERFECT! Walking distance to everything. Now we just need the perfect house to go up for sale. Will keep you all posted. We're holding off a bit, lagging behind H&T by about 2 months or so. Just enough time to let them settle into the place in Burlington and then WHAMMO, time to help us move! Heh Heh.
Ok, time to get some RBC work done.
Later all.

I think Murray and Marie should do the right thing and give you their house. And leave David in the deal.
No deal.
If they leave David's car in the garage, then we can talk...
Having never bought a house before, I'm not that familiar with all the ins and outs. But I thought that there was something about things that are attached to the house go with the house. David DEFINITELY qualifies as attached to the house.
If David's car is going to be an issue, I would be more than happy to take the car and keep it here.
Glad to see Max is back home :)
You know, if you buy a house in Hamilton, the GO train leaves from the station downtown and the real estate is much more affordable. Your housing dollars will go further. I'm sure you could get a mansion in Hamilton for the price of a bungalow in Burlington :)
So, Paul and I have been looking for homes in the Pickering/Ajax area...thought we'd get a nice big house with an in-law suite for mom and dad! lol!
